Random happenings.
Here's some pics from the past couple weeks. Life has been busy as usual, and i'm so happy its almost the holidays!
Playing with playdough at our playdate
C wanted a beard like his daddy...No Shave November! (I hope he shaves it before the month is over) C loves to rub his hands on it...its really sweet.
C has started to make different faces...this is one of them
He was pretending to be asleep but I took the pic when he "wake up" as he says it. His newest thing he loves to do is to pretend. The other night we went to Lowe's and he told us Mickey Mouse was sitting next to him in the car. And yesterday he lined up all the kitchen chairs and kept saying school school. I think he was pretending he was at school! He is so fun and I love watching his little mind work. He is at such a fun age!
Riley is growing like a weed and loves playing outside
Trying to play outside as much as he can before it gets too coldHe was pretending to be asleep but I took the pic when he "wake up" as he says it. His newest thing he loves to do is to pretend. More halloween fun.
Just a fun video I filmed of Caden halloween night that I forgot about, until I uploaded some pics today!
Thankful.
Saturday, I headed to the downtown rescue mission with some other ladies from my tuesday morning bible study. I really didn't know what to expect, except that we were going to minister to the young children at the women and children's shelter. I was taken back by the fact that these children and women barely have anything. The shelter provides food and a place to sleep. These kids were so desperate for our love and affection. It broke my heart. One sweet little 5-year old girl kept asking for her daddy and told me she just wanted a home for Christmas. It was definitely a bitter-sweet experience for me. I left yearning for more ways to help these sweet kids, and also so thankful for everything I have! It kinda puts things into perspective when you see homeless people like this. I can't imagine not knowing where my next meal was going to come from and if my kids would have somewhere to sleep. I really enjoyed spending time with these kids and loving on them. I'm excited to go back next month!!

Birthday Shoutout!!
This past Saturday was Brandon's birthday and my mom's birthday! It's fun that they both have the same birthday! We still haven't all gotten together and celebrated due to everyone's busy schedules! But I took B to Nashville saturday so he could go to BassPro Shop since we don't have one here yet. We ended up going with two other couples so it was a blast! Then on monday, I had a surprise lunch for my mom. She was so surprised and we all had a great time! I'm behind on posting stuff on here, so stay tuned for some pics and new posts! I've been super busy these past few days and when I get some "me" time, I'll start blogging more:)

Not a happy camper!
I don't get into politics....I think everyone should have their own opinion and vote however they want to , but I'm really disappointed in this election. After asking so many democrats why they were voting for Obama, not a single one could give me a solid answer. I guess just to see history made?! Don't you think we should vote based on issues and not just to see history made? Well, there you go America voting for someone you really don't know much about!! And thats all I have to say about that.
