It's a ..........!!!

Oh goodness I've been so busy, but not to busy to share some news!  We will be welcoming another little BOY in our household!  I had an ultrasound when I was 16 weeks and it looked like a little girl!  Well when I had my "official" 20 week u/s....we found out differently!  I'm super excited to be having another boy, not that I didn't want a girl, but I actually know what to do with little boys!  And Caden.....he is over the moon excited to be getting a baby brother!  He came to the appt. with us and I was so overjoyed to see his little face light up with excitement when he got to see his little brother!  Do we have a name picked out.....of course!!  I'm such a planner and OCD, so of course we had him named before we left the dr's office:)  Caden's little brother will be named Bennett Lane Bailes!  Bennett looked perfect and he is healthy!  Heart, lungs, tummy, kidney, face, etc. all looked wonderful and I'm measuring exactly where they thought I was...we actually had the u/s when I was 21 weeks and 1 day and Benett measured exactly that!  My due date is still May 26th.

As soon as we left the doctor, Brandon and I went to Babies r us and registered!  I kinda questioned whether I should register or not, being this is my 2nd, but its been almost 5 years since I've had a newborn and I've gotten rid of alot of baby stuff!  I was overwhelmed with all the "stuff", which bottles do I use, etc!   My mom had Caden so it was a fun date for Brandon and I.  We've started on the nursery and I've picked out bedding, its starting to feel real now that I'm getting Bennett's room ready!

I'm definetely showing now, there's no hiding that I'm preggo!  For the most part I'm over morning sickness...i've gotten sick a few times, but nothing like it was.  I've been feeling movement for some time now and it melts my heart!  He is most active at night when I lay down to go to bed!  Caden wants to talk to his brother alot and he sings to him....sweet sweet boy!  I'm so full of joy and i'm so thankful we've been blessed to get to raise another child!

I've gained 1lb. so far...woo hoo, but I go to the dr. next week and I'm sure I'll have gained more...i'm eating alot more now:)  As I write this blog, I am 23 weeks and 1 day.  My uterus is the size of a basketball and Bennett is just a little over a pound and about 9 inches long!
