Potty training or bust??

So I'm having a really hard time potty training Mr. Caden! He will be 3 the end of this month and I'm bound and determined to have him potty trained by his 3rd b-day. Any suggestions??

Happy Anniversary!

Today is mine and Brandon's 2nd Anniversary! Time sure does fly by! We are going on a date tonight to celebrate, without Caden, and I'm super excited! I love you sweetie! You are such a wonderful husband and I'm so thankful God brought us together!

We're back!!

Wow!!! I can't believe I haven't blogged in 3 months! Life has just been crazy, wonderful, and busy. I won't bore you all, but I'll try to recap what all we've been up to lately.

• I just finished up my semester! I've had a wonderful sememster....I got to do clinicals in the ER, on the ambulance, and at the fire station! I have lots of crazy stories, but I'll share those on a different post! So on Monday, May 18th I go take my national registry test so I can officially be an EMT! I'm hoping to get a part-time job this summer working maybe 2 days at the hospital or on the ambulance.
• Caden is growing up....he'll be 3 in June! His last day of preschool is next Wednesday and then he's out for the summer. They have missed alot of days so far in may because of all the swine flu stuff. There were 3 cases here in Madison! I thought maybe C might have had it last week...he started running a super high fever but he ended up having hand-foot-mouth! So he's finally feeling up to par this week.
• I had a wonderful Mother's Day! We went to church and then ate with my family and my grandma! Brandon and Caden treated my like a princess the whole day. Brandon is getting me a super cool new coffee table! You can go check it out at tangerinasonline.com...look under tables and mine will be similar to the brown cow!
• Brandon just switched to 10-hour days, 4 days a week. So he has Fridays off which we love!!
• We got to meet my sister's new boyfriend this past Easter!! He's a cutie and we think he's a keeper! They both stayed with us for the weekend and we had a blast with them.
• And we are all looking forward to this summer. I am taking the summer off from school so I am super pumped about not having a set schedule.

I'll post pics later on another post! And since I'm done with school till August, I will be much better about blogging!

My talented hubby.

Back in January, my hubby killed a huge boar! He didn't really think much of it, just lots of meat and its something he's always wanted to kill with his bow. Keep in mind that Brandon doesn't just hunt with a normal bow, he shoots a recurve, which is kind of like what the Indians used. It doesn't have any sights or advanced technology!

The local outdoor store, Wiley's, got ahold of the picture and called him last week and told him he won the 2008/2009 picture of the year! He got $100 to use towards anything in the store! I am so proud of him! This is quite an achievement in the hobby of hunting! Below is the picture that won!

This is one of my favorite pictures of Brandon and I! I thought it was appropriate to post since today is the day of LOVE!! I love you sweetie! You definitely complete my life and are a wonderful daddy! Let's always remember why God brought us together and how blessed we are!

Brandon and I are going to enjoy tonight all to ourselves! Caden will be at B's parents so we can enjoy each other and have some alone time:) Hope everyone has a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Kids Kingdom.

Last Thursday, little man and I met some friends at the park. It actually wasn't freezing outside so that's why we went. Normally, I really dislike being outside when its cold, but Thursday was in the sixties! We went to Kids Kingdom, hands down, is the coolest park I've seen! I took these pics with my phone and I'm pretty impressed!
.............and this is Monday, at the doctor, b/c little man has the croup! He doesn't look sick, but trust me, he was! Poor Caden!
