Hey Ashley! As far as the layouts you have to add a gadget and put the code for the layout in it. To downsize your picture, go the design tab. Click on the Header. You will have to delete the picture you already have. Reload it. Before you hit the save button, click on resize. Then save and view your blog. Hope that helps!
